Amnesia Vu

I've reached another new phase in my life and it's driving me crazy. That phase when you start forgetting things ... well, that's inevitable. The past couple of years, since being diagnosed with diabetes, I've noticed a significant increase in the number of instances where I use the wrong word, and it's nonsensical. Like, "please hand me that sofa," instead of "please hand me my cola." Or "do you know where the birdhouses are?" instead of "do you know where the car keys are?"

So, now, this new phase is where I'm forgetting how to PRONOUNCE words. The debate in my head as I try to remember how to pronounce a word would be comical if it wasn't so frustrating!! The other day, I got bogged down with trying to remember whether or not to pronounce the "h" in "herbs." Aaaaaargghhhh!!!

Hope you have a pleasingly memorable Monday!

Melanie

Awww shame hon. You have all my sympathy as I've been like that for a couple of years because of my fibro and the insulin resistance.

Thanks for all the lovely wordart and for keeping at it. You give us hope..:-)

Have a great day!
