You Can't Have Too Much

Can't have too much love ...

Can't have too much family ... the loving, fun kind, that is ...

Can't have too many nuts, because it keeps variety going ...

And you can't have too much FUDGE. Yum.

Blessings,

Melanie

Here's the "Abundance" word art in the kit so that you can get a better idea of what it's like:

Abundance

I had only scant moments of time over the past month to work on KimB's DSO ALWAYS fun color challenge for April so it's really not the best of work. However, it was a work of intent, and a no-brainer as to what I was going to call it.

At a time when we're so often reminded about how many people around the world are suffering from hunger and lack of health care, I'm ashamed to step back and look back at the abundance we have around us. Yet, I'm also infinitely grateful for God's promises to provide. Those seem like contradictory thoughts, but it's a reminder to me to pray for others and look for ways to do my part to help others.

So, here's my mini-kit: MMDC April Abundance 2008.

Hope you can use it with joy this spring.

Priceless

The past several weekends, we've had guests in our home as my oldest niece and her husband check out options for their future (new job, new house, etc.). Their oldest son -- age 6 -- has been particularly vocal about what a good time he has had at our house. The middle son -- age 5 -- always wants to stay longer, which, of course, is music to my ears. But the older one has been saying the line used in today's second word art.

It makes me melt. :) So, I couldn't resist turning it into a word art.

Hope you enjoy it!!

TTFN,
Melanie

I'm Back

I soooo hated to be out of pocket for awhile, but finally got out from under the craziness.

Hope you haven't forgotten me?

Here's a new gift, that I hope you can use.

All the best,

Melanie

Jimmy Buffet Has the Right Idea

Can it be because I'm really, really, really tired and in great need of a vacation that I'm thinking today about naps and tropical shirts???

Yep. I think so.

Hope you enjoy finding pics to scrap with this word art!!

Blessings,
Melanie

Journal Art

I created today's gift at work -- I'm using it for the cards to go with the Administrative Professionals Week gifts we're giving our support staff. Hope you can use it yourself. I made the flowers to complement the gift bag. [I'm obsessive-compulsive that way!] For the two male office assistants, I put a brown overlay over the flowers, and used the same brown for the DB Journaling Boxes, to make it more masculine. If you'd like that version, too, just let me know.

Still have tons of deadlines bearing down on me, but hope to be relieved of much of it by the end of next week. Sorry for not having something to give you every day.

Blessings on your week,

Melanie

Message to my Faithful Readers

I apologize for being a bit absent the past few days. I'm juggling several projects that have reached a critical deadline stage and I must focus on them in order to be responsive to those deadlines.

Morever, I owe profound apologies to several of you who have asked for specific requests. You have not been forgotten. I promise to get to them before too long -- at least by next week. This is just a temporary situation.

Scrapping devotees will understand that I would sooooooo much more prefer to work on scrapping projects -- by a long shot!!
Which brings me to today's word art gift. Mark Twain had it right -- who knew that someone from the 19th century would be so spot-on with his wisdom for those of us in the 21st century? It's never been more true than now, I think. Strictly my opinion, of course, but really on target for me, at least.

Blessings on your day,
Melanie
