Viva July

I've been busy this month with a multitude of things and haven't had much time to work on the Challenges at DSO, which is something I totally enjoy. Here's what I did for the 2nd color challenge (VIVA JULY) hosted by the divine Miss KimB. Hope you can use something in it. It's definitely not my best work.

My Favorite Sidekick

I just came across this phrase today and thought it was appropriate for a variety of relationships conveyed in your layouts. I would LOVE to see how you use this!!! Every layout has its own special story.

Hope your Saturday is blissful,

love makes me strong

It's always a treat when a reader sends me a layout in which they've used a word art I've prepared. Chuchie sent this too cute layout recently:

Thanks, Chuchie!!!

Today's word art freebie:

once upon a dream

Have you seen the stunning new collaboration by KimB and her sister, Gaye (GS Creations)? TOOF FAIRY is a whimsical homage to the ethereal tooth fairy, but it's sooooooo much more; the combined talents of these extraordinarily gifted ladies is beyond words. You will LOVE it if you haven't already seen it. At the moment, it's still on sale at DSO.

Kim graciously gave me permission to use the kit's backgrounds to create some word art. It's designed to go with any of the pieces of the kit.

Here's a layout with my youngest niece (Anna, age 1) for which I used the TOOF FAIRY kit and today's freebie word art.

I hope you have had a chance by now to decide that you REALLY NEED the Wonderful Words 1 set of word art. There are 20 pieces (some of which are also prepared in white fonts and included in the set). It can be yours for a minimum donation of $2USD.

Thanks for stopping by today and making it through today's post. ;)

Hope your day is wonderful,

Melanie
